The band has been established since 1994 and formed by a group of ex-army Gordon Highlander pipers who settled in the south of England.

The band soon grew in numbers with people who had a keen interest in piping and drumming, many already accomplished in their field.

Two bands Tonbridge and Malling & St Andrew were formed in 1984 and reformed in 1994 as the Glenduart Pipe and Drums.

The band encourages disabled, young and elderly to participate actively within the group.

The band has approximatley 22 members and our aim is to promote piping and drumming to the community at home and abroad.

We have performed in Spain, Hungary, Sicily, Finland, Korea, Turkey and many other venues.

The band is currently developing to competition level with the dedication of Pipe Major Jim Campbell.

The tartan that we wear is the Maclean-duart ancient tartan.
