 You need 5 people in your clan team (16 years old +) to enter and it costs £50 (£10 each). The money raised goes to Island charity “Challenge and Adventure” which helps disadvantaged Island children get outside and active- a really great cause that directly benets Island people in need of support.

Your clan be made up of friends, family or work colleagues (or all three!) and you will need to think of an appropriate clan name to put fear into the hearts of the other clan teams!

The games are all about having fun and taking part, but be warned, the rivaly between teams is high and the games are competitively fought! Above all else it’s a great laugh for all taking part and for the spectators who love to watch the action. So enjoy being part of the main attraction!

Teams can be mixed or single sex and everyone should come dressed for the occasion. Plenty of tartan and highland themed attire is considered a must! Sturdy trainers are also essential as footwear, but we don’t permit hoes with studs or spikes to help with grip, so leave your football boots at home!

You should be physically fit and be able to compete in these activities.

You will need to register your team by the 10th July 2017 using the registration form (print off and return it or complete the online version). We will then send you entry tickets to the event, so you and your clan team can gain access to Northwood House on the day of the Gathering.

Your friends, family and supporters can buy their entry tickets on the gate on the day.

You will need to check in between 10am and 10.30am at the games arena and be ready to attend the opening ceremony at 11am, when the event will be offcially opened by the honorary Chieftain.

The games will then take place throughout the day, presided by the offcial highland referee, who’s decision is always final. The winning team who accrued most points will be crowned.
