Main Field Event Stage

Our opening ceremony will see the pipes and drum bands and dancers march in procession into the main arena to the welcome of our Chieftain for the day.

The chieftain will declare the Games open and the arena the performers will march off heralding the commencement of the days events

The climax of the day will be to marvel at the  sounds and sight of the Massed Pipes Drums and Bands finale playing in unison as they parade to the salute of the Chieftain in preparation of the prize giving and closing remarks.

During the day enjoy the pipes and drums band displays and contests, the marching band and dancers.

Reading Pipe Band

The Band was formed in 1957 by former pipers of the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders. Thus it wears the Cameron of Erracht tartan. Link to their website here:

Glenduart Pipe Band

The band has been established since 1994 and formed by a group of ex-army Gordon Highlander pipers who settled in the south of England. Link to their website here:

Hampshire Caledonian Pipe Band

The Hampshire Caledonian Pipe Band, is a Grade 4 (B) Band, we are seeking both Pipers and Drummers to join a friendly band of like minded individuals, who would like to play or learn to play an instrument with our band. Link to their website here:

South Coast Falconry

Lantra qualified falconer Charlie Rolle and his team are bringing education and fun to the Isle of Wight through their flying displays. Link to their website:

Isle of Wight Gundog Club

The Club holds several events throughout the year, with two Field Trials and three Working Tests, two group Open Shows held in the Spring and Autumn and each week there are training sessions for those wishing to work and show their dogs. Link to their website:
